Managing a Masterpiece has commissioned a 360º study of the landscape surrounding 36 churchtowers nestled in the historic landscape of Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Stour Valley.  The public displays, online tour and touring pod represents the culmination of all the work that has gone into the project. The 360º panoramas displayed in the tour will be presented to the churches that took part in the project ibn the spring of 2012.  It is hoped that postcards of the prints will be available from churches involved with the project.  

One of our key ideas was not only to record the historic views of the Stour Valley but to create avirtual tour of the valley which would increase access to these stunning views. No matter who orwhere you are, you can access the Stour Valley landscape from anywhere in the world. The onlinetour is available and you can take it from here.

The tour can also be viewed from the electronic ‘pod’ also currently on display around the valley. The ‘pod’ allows users to investigate the images by panning around the images and zooming in on particular areas ofinterest.  After the short stay in Ipswich the ‘pod’ will continue its tour of churches in the StourValley.
