Celebrating the Stour Valley Landscape.

Managing a Masterpiece has commissioned a 360º study of the landscape surrounding 36 church towers nestled in the historic landscape, leading to interactive tours of the area. Take the Tour.

We are undertaking a modern 360º view on this unique landscape, employing ultra modern virtual reality technology. Pan3Sixty, experts in this field were commissioned to deliver interactive tours of the surrounding landscape, captured from 35 church tower locations in the area.

The outcomes will be:

• 36 high quality panoramic 360 degree photographs taken from church towers in the Dedham Vale AONB and Stour ValleyHigh quality print of panoramic photograph (size approx 120m x 40cm) displayed in churches where image taken in appropriate free standing frameProduction of 500 postcards of image with option of future postcard production in the future.
• Production of a user interface for 30 x 360º panoramas to include links to other churches/sites of interest to enable a virtual tour of the area.  
• To provide 10 zones per image where additional information can pop up.In addition to this, there will be:
• A mobile lecturn which will tour around the churches allowing the public to view the panoramas.  The first stop on this tour will be at Long Melford from 3rd August 2011. 
• An online interface which will allow visitors to this site to interact with the views from the church towers.
