Managing a Masterpiece: The Stour Valley Landscape Partnership has been divided into three delivery programmes, they are:
This programme seeks to increase awareness and understanding of the Stour Valley by residents and those with an interest in its landscape and heritage assets, by learning more about them and how they are managed, and actively working to manage and restore the key features.
This programme seeks to conserve the heritage (natural and cultural) assets of the Stour Valley through a series of projects that maintain, enhance and restore them. Much of the work will be undertaken by volunteers using new skills learnt during Managing a Masterpiece: The Stour Valley Landscape Partnership Scheme and guided by work undertaken in programme 1 to ensure robust outcomes.
The three programmes will deliver positive benefits to the Stour Valley in terms of environmental, social and economic benefits during and beyond the implementation phase. A programme of Scheme management will ensure that programmes and projects are delivered on time and to budget with effective promotion of the scheme and its funding partners.
